A hand embroidered subtle staple made for real people. A quirky button up mid length sleeve top perfect for a hot Australian summer. A cute white top you’ll see me wearing with all my basics and under overalls! First impressions I thought it had a cowgirl vibe and will look so fab with my pinup full circle skirts but after styling it with comfy basics I’m grabbing it so often, it really is a subtle staple.. If you want a comfy light shirt this is for you. Whilst I’m not sure of the sun safety as its a thin material its definitely better then a singlet + I’m so much more comfortable in this.
Our adventure
Well, after a big night (read about this is previous blog) - meaning we ate delicious food then crashed at our hotel room next was the trip home. After a swim in the hotel pool we headed into the city for a quick stop into myer and saw Mataya set up giving cookies + coffees out. We love this local cafe and enjoyed 2 bikky from them (see in a reel on insta). Now off the fremantle market for some lunch then home. I stayed cool in this outfit all trip and was so comfortable. We finished our eventful date night + day with fresh fruit and a trip to the beach for sunset. Seth was happy but was NOT a fan of the mosquitos so we enjoyed a little moment but his socks and sandals vibe didn't last long on the beach. We did leave the aeroguard at home. It was such a peaceful way to end our little adventure away. We were making up for lost time and love our local lagoon type beach. I feel so lucky to have this memory and photos to match. Sorry to get sappy!

Delightful, summer staple. I’ve never found a mid arm length top that fits! Thanks to the shirring detail. This needs to be included on all shirts..I own so many vintage items where the guns don’t fit. I sized up to a size 14 as I feel most comfortable in not fitted garments and have broad shoulders - most Boom shirts or jackets I’m a 14. This was quite roomy although the neck hole was perfect for me. I was so comfortable in it due to the light, soft fabric.

In all brands I vary from an 8-16 so this isn’t surprising. I’d suggest trying on in store to understand the usual sizing with Boom Shankars button up tops, wrap tops and T-shirts as all styles vary. Everyone’s body + style of fit is different. I’m not one to shop online often due to being in the mid style category. Boom Shankar offers a 28 day return policy check that out here.
