Adventures, local treasures & date nights in Boom Shankar clothing.
A true adventure travelling to see my partner Seth after 8 months apart. Catching up on all the missed date nights and happy moments we could over an 8 week trip. Splurging on food & seeing new sights were on our agenda. Not much of a blogger or travel gal myself, I wanted to capture moments and put Seth to work behind the camera (for the first time). I knew he wasn’t bad with a phone camera but after 6 years I thought it's time for him to become a real instagram boyfriend. Not long after my last minute flight I heard an amazing shipment of Boom Shankar Clothing was arriving soon in QLD. Earlier in 2021 I had collaborated with them and was featured on their blog (SO EPIC! - more on that later) and they reached out again for me to create some content. After delays they finally dropped the collection and I was able to select some goodies from the summer range. They express shipped the goodies to me in WA. Thanks to Aus Post they dropped it somewhere but it made it to me eventually - still not sure where it sat overnight or why it was slightly opened but I was one happy girl to see the package. I do feel for all delivery drivers and postal workers during these times. I wasn't a Karen, I was only slightly stressed.
Anyhow, beyond excited to receive these goodies - I was inspired by the good vibes, bright energy and thrill of the mail getting to me. Ideas flowed, adventures awaited and unboxing videos were a must. Trialling styles, editing tricks and working without all my usual equipment was a slight challenge. But I love what I’ve created and yes! I created my first youtube video - First impressions and try on haul of Boom Shankar Clothing Summer 21/22.
It felt like this type of content was years in the making - way back in 2016 on our first date Seth said I’m make a good youtube personality. So here we are getting familiar with the camera with long form videos ft. Seth. Enjoy the cute cringe, lovey vibes and fun fashion in the content. Hopefully this is just the beginning & you follow our journey through life.
I’m so privileged to have this opportunity to capture memories, be adventurous and create for brands I truly believe in + love.
